Meta Gives Ray-Ban Smart Glasses a Major Upgrade with Smarter AI Conversations

Meta is rolling out improvements to the Ray Ban Meta smart glasses that include a more extensive live translation of languages as well as the ability of sending IG messages, AI for conversation and much more.
The first thing to note is that Meta has begun providing more users with access to the live translation feature that lets you hear the interpretation of spoken languages through your ears.
The explanation is provided by Meta:
"Whether you're traveling to a new country and need to ask for directions to the train station or you're spending quality time with a family member and need to break the language barrier, you can hold seamless conversations across English, French, Italian, and Spanish - no Wi-Fi or network connectivity required if you've downloaded the language pack in advance."
Meta first offered live translation on the form of Ray Ban glasses last December It's now making this option available to all customers.
This could be very useful tool, whether you're trying to hold an exchange with a acquaintance, or just tune to the conversations taking place in another specific language in a specific context. The accuracy of translation is bound to differ based on external distractions, but Meta is convinced its results delivers are of sufficient quality to warrant an expansion of the service.
Meta has also added Instagram DM capabilities to its glasses. Users will be receiving DMs and audio calls and video calls via Instagram inside the glasses. Additionally, you'll be able upload images with the app.
"This allows you for making calls as well as sending messages via WhatsApp and Messenger and the messaging app native to the iPhone and Android phone. Whatever device your group is communicating, you'll be connected and always on the go. Simply say, "Hey Meta and send an email via Lisa through Instagram."
